Look And Feel Great When Dating!

At Bowes-Lyon Partnership we believe that feeling confident when you begin the dating process is all about feeling confident and comfortable with yourself. Hannah & Claud of MoveThreeSixty share their tips for a healthy start to 2012:

When its cold we tend to forget about drinking water to hydrate collagen. Collagen is what keeps our skin looking healthy and young. Drinking plenty of water is also a great way to flush toxins out of the body. Try to limit tea and coffee as caffeine tends to dehydrate the internal organs, collagen fibres and the brain.

2.      Eat fat!

Picture of nuts, seed and advocadoFat does not make you fat. Hydrogenated oils, sugars and man made foods creates a stress response in the body which ultimately leads to fat storage! The body is made of 15% fat and this is vital for organ insulation and the production of new cells within the body. Good fats help the body repair and absorb nutrients from foods.

Intelligent three dimensional movement burns calories a lot faster than sitting in a gym machine! Exercise is not just about training muscles its about educating the body on how to move properly therefore reducing chances of injury. Aesthetics comes with it. Clothes are great but not so great on a body that has poor postural tone!

4.      Sleep!

Picture of lady sleepingWe all love to sleep. Sleeping is one of the most important repair systems the human body has but it is vital to know when to sleep. Getting to bed at 10pm or 1030pm and sleeping for 7 to 8 hours per night will increase rejuvenation of the body. An exercise program is only as affective as your sleeping program. The body repairs everything whilst you rest!


5.
      You time!

Make sure you get a couple of hours a day to look after yourself. A great way is to get a massage. This helps release endorphins which in turn aids digestion, assimilation and repair. Reading a book helps destress the mind too. You only have one body so look after it.
