Loving the UK Dating Awards 2017

Last night, the Bowes-Lyon Partnership’s team of matchmakers were out in London at the 2017 UK Dating Awards. The prestigious awards show is the largest dating awards event in Europe and took place at the Honourable Artillery Company in Shoreditch.

Guests included the cream of the dating industry’s movers and shakers: including dating experts, writers, dating app developers and matchmakers from across the globe.

Heart and Flowers

As you can imagine, the event was incredibly glamorous;with fairy lights draped across exposed brick and guests in black tie or fabulous evening gowns. The theme was hearts and flowers, and roses lay on glitter heart covered tables (alongside the wine and champagne). Entertainment was delivered by cheeky host and ‘sexpert’ podcaster, Alix Fox, with music from Oxford’s acapella group (and Britain’s Got Talent contestants) Out of the Blue.

Finalists

Now in its fourth year, the Dating Awards are the UK’s only annual awards event recognising expertise and excellence across the entire industry. We, at Bowes-Lyon, were very honoured to be finalist in two categories this year: Matchmaker of the Year (for the third time running), and a finalist in the Best Customer Service category.

We congratulate everyone who won in their category, or those who were noted as highly commended. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It is exciting to see the many ways the industry is working together to improve (and make safer) the dating lives of singletons everywhere.
