At the Bowes-Lyon Partnership, we’re proud to say that we have a team of expert matchmakers who know exactly what they’re doing when it comes to dating. As an elite dating agency that’s been around for a while, we’ve noticed a few questions from our members regularly crop up. How do Iknow whether he or she likes me? How should I approach taking our relationship further? How can I be sure that we’re both ready for a relationship? These questions all revolve around the same sort of theme, so allow us to give you the benefit of our experience.
Sometimes relationships are complicated, whether we’re talking about true love or just companionship. But quite often, any complications are quite superficial. In fact, we’re often the sole cause of any issues. Overthinking relationships or trying to read your date’s mind is best avoided, simply because a successful relationship relies on honest communication and trust. If you have don’t have either of those, or if you can’t communicate freely and generate any trust in your partner, they’re probably not the right person for you.
The way we all analyse relationships can sometimes be quite comical – that’s why many a sitcom has been based around love and dating. Am I being too pushy? Am I calling my partner too much or too little? Should I see my date once a week or more? But in all seriousness, as matchmakers, the Bowes-Lyon Partnership knows that this type of attitude will put a strain on even the best intentions. We are firm believers that dating should be fun. Potentially meeting the love of your life is a tremendously exciting thing and, while couples fall in love and date in many different ways, no matchmaker should ever encourage you to make quick decisions about your date. In fact, having a relaxed approach to dating and staying in the moment will be the optimal plan.
Ultimately, being relaxed will result in a more suitable atmosphere for a date. It’s going to be much easier for a matchmaker to help you find a suitable partner if you live in the moment. After all, there’s a big difference between a priority and an obsession. Finding a romantic partner is a goal that should compliment your life, not overwhelm it. By staying in the here and now, you’ll come across as more attractive and be in a much better place to connect with someone.
